The 12th Ministerial meeting of the Arctic Council marks the end of the two-year Icelandic Chairmanship term. The meeting was held on 20th May 2021 in Reykjavik, Iceland. It provided an opportunity to review and approve the Council’s activities and accomplishments under the Icelandic Chairmanship. It also saw the Russian Federation assume the role of chairing the Arctic Council for the next two years.
