Record number of deliverables from PAME as Kingdom of Denmark assumes Arctic Council Chairship.

The Protection of the Arctic Marine Environment (PAME) Working Group of the Arctic Council has concluded a highly productive 2021-2025 period, delivering a record number of key assessments, reports, and tools aimed at promoting the sustainable use and conservation of the Arctic marine environment. This significant output comes as the Kingdom of Denmark assumes the Chairship of the Arctic Council as Norways' Chairship concludes.

Throughout 2021-2025 PAME has actively collaborated with other Arctic Stattes, Arctic Council Working Groups, Arctic inhabitants - including Indigenous Peoples and local communities, accredited Observers, and various Arctic stakeholders. This collaborative approach has been instrumental in addressing a wide range of critical topics impacting the Arctic marine environment, in follow-up to the Reykjavik Ministerial Declaration and the Arctic Council Strategic Plan (2021-2030).

The deliverables include the PAME 2025-2027 Work Plan. A summary report, the PAME 2021-2025 Achievements report, furthermore provides a thorough overview of PAME's work during this period.
